the temporal and plastic arts are the same in the sense that rhythm determines both. of course, one is a static composition and the other a moving one, however, both are compositions. And rhythm determines this composition. We cannot say that rhythm gets sprinkled on the canvas or frame, but that rhythm is the composition and frame- and creates it. . Rhythm is not just beats, nor actions and intervals. Rhythm is the intensive and felt feature at the core of the art work
